Job summary

Hercules Offshore is seeking an experienced Technical Authority – Structural to provide leadership and assurance across FPSO and offshore operations. This senior role focuses on maintaining naval architecture standards, ensuring safe and efficient design throughout the asset lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering and extensive experience in the offshore industry. The position offers the opportunity to mentor engineers and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in offshore Oil & Gas or closely related industry.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multinational environments.
• Strong experience across project and operational phases of offshore facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop technical standards for projects and operations.
• Provide expert technical guidance to projects and asset operations.
• Lead verification and assurance activities ensuring compliance with standards.

Skills

Deep expertise in structural, construction and materials engineering

Strong understanding of structural industry rules and standards

Knowledge of structural analysis softwares

Education

Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience
