Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Structural Analyst III for an on-site 6-month contract in Kent, WA. The role focuses on strength analysis of primary and secondary structures for aerospace payload accommodations, from concept to launch, with direct collaboration with manufacturing teams.

The candidate will perform sizing, analysis, testing, and qualification of subsystems, using CAD and FEA tools, and will present technical findings to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering and 6+ years of experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. per status requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full hardware lifecycle from requirements through launch and integration.
• Analyze, develop, and test primary and secondary metallic and composite structures.
• Complete hand calculations and FEM analyses to report margins of safety for aerospace structures.
• Document stress analysis to support release of engineering drawings and documents.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams across design, manufacturing, and mission integration.
