Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Analyst for a 12+ months contract located in Santa Ana, CA. This onsite role focuses on advanced structural, mechanical, and thermal analysis for marine/robotic systems, including FEA, hand calculations, and design reviews.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering with 7+ years of experience, proficiency in Nastran/ANSYS/Abaqus, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of structural design/analysis experience in marine, aerospace or robotics.
• Proficiency with Nastran, ANSYS, Abaqus or equivalent.
• Experience with materials selection for corrosive environments or high pressure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience with submarine or pressure hull structures.
• Familiarity with ABS or DNV structural design codes.
• Experience with composites and weld analysis.
• Experience in defense or maritime robotics.

Responsabilidades

• Own structural, mechanical, and thermal analysis for the vehicle
• Perform structural analysis: FEA, hand calculations, and buckling
• Verify structural interfaces with propulsion, buoyancy, energy, and payload systems
• Drive trade studies balancing strength, weight, corrosion, and cost
• Support prototype builds and structural test campaigns
• Contribute to design reviews (PDR, CDR) and documentation
• Travel up to 25% to test sites and manufacturing facilities

Immediate need for a talented Senior Structural Analyst. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Santa Ana, CA (Onsite).

Pay Range: $96/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Own structural, mechanical, and thermal analysis for the vehicle
