Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field with focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Materials Sciences.
• Typically 9+ years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with stress analysis software (e.g., Nastran/Patran, Hypermesh, Abaqus).

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish system design.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and FE models.
• Develop test plans, support test execution, and analyze results to validate requirements.
• Maintain analytical processes/tools to improve development and sustainment.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams for mechanical subsystem and payload integration.
• Support trade studies and provide on-site installation and testing support.
• Contribute to proposals and participate in project planning with team leads.
