Job summary

AAR is seeking a Stress Engineer IV in Greensboro, NC to lead substantiation and stress analyses for FAA certification. You will mentor junior engineers, direct modeling and testing activities, and ensure design concepts meet industry standards within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities include developing FE models, approving analyses, and providing technical support during manufacturing, with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in processes.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Advise and mentor junior engineers on regulations and directives.
• Review and approve structural analysis to ensure FAA certification.
• Develop and review finite element models to aid design and certification.
• Create substantiation and stress analysis notes with traceable records.
• Provide technical support to Production during manufacturing and installation.
