Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Strength and Conditioning Specialist to lead and refine conditioning programs for SOF personnel. The role includes designing, administering, and evaluating evidence-based strength and conditioning protocols, and coordinating with sports medicine and cognitive performance teams to support injury prevention and recovery.

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance eligibility are required for contract performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant field with 7+ years of experience, or equivalent.
• CSCS or CSCCA certification is required; maintain CPR/AED.
• Demonstrated expertise in strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead strength and conditioning for SOF personnel and oversee program design and evaluation.
• Supervise project staff and coordinate with medical and performance teams.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are safe and compliant with standards.
• Document services and report on program effectiveness using HP enterprise platforms.
