Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to support SOF personnel through evidence-based physical performance, injury mitigation, and return-to-duty programming. Candidate will design training protocols, instruct proper exercise techniques, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure safe, timely readiness. U.S.

citizenship and a Secret security clearance are required or eligible. This role is pending contract award and may be based in hybrid locations with strong on-site

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science/related discipline; master preferred
• CSCS or CSCCA certification and ongoing maintenance

Responsibilities

• Instruct strength and conditioning and exercise techniques.
• Design individualized and group training protocols for SOF personnel.
• Collaborate with medical and human performance staff to support readiness.
• Ensure compliance with program requirements and standards.
