Job summary

The City of Falls Church is seeking a Senior Crew Leader for the Streets Crew. Based in Falls Church, VA, you will supervise Maintenance Workers performing sidewalk, asphalt, and concrete repairs, manage daily tasks, and coordinate with City departments to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Works Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role requires a CDL and proven leadership; the City offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Supervises and guides field crews on daily street maintenance tasks.
• Interprets work orders, plans, and specs to assign tasks.
• Ensures safety protocols and quality standards are met.
• Maintains accurate records of labor hours and materials used.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead the Streets Crew daily activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to minimize disruption.
• Inspect work in progress and upon completion for quality and safety.
• Maintain project records and report progress to management.
• Provide training and direction to crew members in proper methods.
