Job summary

Epworth Children & Family Services at the Normandy Drop-In Center in St. Louis, MO, seeks a supervisor to implement the Street Outreach Program for homeless, runaway, and at‑risk youth up to 21. You will coordinate services, develop linkages with community providers, and ensure safety while empowering clients.

The role requires staffing supervision, staff development, and data-driven program tracking. Strong communication and local resource knowledge are essential; evening/weekend availability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, drug and alcohol education, counseling, psychology, sociology, or criminal justice.
• Knowledge of St. Louis neighborhoods and understand the dynamics of street youth.
• Minimum two years of experience with older youth.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, guidance and direction of the day-to-day operations of street outreach and Drop-In Center services.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and volunteers as applicable; setting and monitoring performance expectations to ensure agency and departmental goals are met.
• Deliver presentations and distribute written information about the Street Outreach Program to reach the target population.
• Work as a partner in the community; build relationships with community resources and coordinate SOS volunteers.
• Record data, outcome measurements and other significant information into ETO and other databases to show effectiveness.
• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with agency policy and funder requirements.
• Link homeless, runaway and at-risk youth to food, clothing, housing resources and other programs as needed.
• Develop training curricula and resource manuals for Street Outreach services.
