Placements24 seeks a Senior Strategy and Innovation Consultant to guide senior clients through corporate strategy development, market entry, and growth initiatives. You will lead workshops, conduct market research, and build financial models to back strategic choices.

The role requires managing client expectations, mentoring junior staff, and presenting recommendations to executives, shaping future business models with a focus on innovation in diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting or innovation management.
• Track record of developing and implementing strategies for diverse clients.
• Experience facilitating innovation processes and adopting new technologies or business models.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, or related field.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience managing project scope, timelines, and client expectations.
• Experience with clients across sectors, with understanding of economic drivers in the Free State is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements focused on corporate strategy development, market entry, and growth initiatives.
• Facilitate innovation workshops and ideation sessions to generate new business concepts and solutions.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to inform strategic recommendations.
• Develop business cases and financial models for new strategic initiatives and innovative ventures.
• Advise clients on organizational design and change management to support the adoption of new strategies and innovations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client executives, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the consulting team, providing guidance and feedback.
• Present strategic insights and recommendations to client leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
