Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a data analytics professional to independently analyze an assigned area of the business and manage strategic projects. You will collaborate with operational leadership, identify growth opportunities, risks, and trends, and provide actionable recommendations to support decision making.

The role requires 3 years of data analytics experience, proficiency with Excel and Tableau, and strong communication and leadership abilities to guide staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 3 years of experience in data analytics, trending, forecasting, modeling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leads, trains, reviews, and validates work product of assigned departmental staff.
• Provides actionable recommendations from data analytics for strategic initiatives.
• Participates in system-wide strategic planning for service line growth.
• Supervises and manages special projects involving service line analysis.
• Mines and analyzes large data sets from multiple sources for growth opportunities.
• Produces standard daily, weekly, and monthly reporting packages.
• Responds to ad hoc reporting requests and supports stakeholders with data insights.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and standards.
