MISO is seeking a senior strategy leader to facilitate cross-functional strategy discussions and align enterprise and department plans. You will guide leadership through tradeoffs, evolve strategic roadmaps, and deliver executive-ready narratives that clarify decisions.

The role emphasizes embedding with business units, driving performance measures, and supporting transformation and AI initiatives to advance the company’s enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve enterprise strategy artifacts, objectives, maps, measures, and roadmaps.
• Integrate departmental strategies to reveal misalignments, competing priorities, and enterprisewide dependencies.
• Lead seniorlevel strategic analysis of internal drivers, external trends, risks, and industry changes.
• Deliver executiveready strategic narratives that simplify complexity and clarify enterprise decisions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to businessarea leaders, framing choices, interpreting performance, and identifying enterpriselevel implications.
• Manage and mature the enterprise strategymanagement cadence, improving decision flow and integration.
• Strengthen performance measures and STI metrics, linking outcomes to strategic priorities.
• Provide strategic support for crosscutting initiatives such as AI, digital transformation, and automation.

What we are looking for…

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12-14 years of relevant experience, including at least 8 years in organizational strategy, transformation, or change leadership.
• Strong analytical and advisory skills; ability to distinguish signal from noise and recommend pragmatic next steps.
• Experience developing aligned businessarea plans and connecting them to enterprise strategy.
• Skilled at asking contextrich, nuanced questions that reveal insights and enable better decisions.
• Ability to embed deeply with business units, build trust, and quickly understand operational realities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver executivelevel narratives.
• Experience with enterprise integration, strategic roadmapping, and performance measurement.
• Energy industry experience preferred.

The appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $157,000-$182,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.
