JM Test Systems, LLC. is seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to partner with our executive and commercial teams. You will shape growth by analyzing markets, customers, and service lines, and by identifying where to invest for impact.

You will own forecasting, pricing and profitability analytics, and provide clear narratives to senior leadership. A blend of SQL, Excel, and BI tools will be essential to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent.
• 2+ years in strategy, analytics, or growth roles with impact.
• Proven ability to structure problems and drive decisions.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for leadership.
• Fluency with SQL, Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools.

About The Role

JM Test Systems is hiring a Senior Strategy Analyst to serve as a thought partner to our executive and commercial teams. This role owns the questions that shape where the business goes next — where our growth is coming from, which customers and service lines deserve more investment, what our markets and competitors are telling us, and what we should do differently as a result.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Analysis & Decision Support — Structure open-ended business questions into analyses that produce a clear recommendation. Own the "so what," not just the data.
• Commercial Growth Strategy — Identify and quantify revenue opportunities across accounts, segments, geographies, and service lines. Partner with Sales leadership to shape go-to-market priorities.
• Sales, Marketing & Pipeline Analytics — Own the analytics behind commercial performance, automating recurring reporting so your time goes toward analysis that changes decisions.
• Forecasting & Predictive Insight — Build forecasting models to flag at-risk accounts, high-potential prospects, and leading indicators.
• Executive Communication — Turn complex analysis into clear narratives for leadership, building the recurring materials the business runs on.
• Market & Competitive Intelligence — Maintain an outside-in view of our markets, competitors, and customer demand signals.
• Corporate Development Support — Partner with leadership to evaluate commercial performance of newly acquired companies and identify growth opportunities.
• Analytics Infrastructure & AI — Partner with Data Engineering to ensure clean, reliable data, and use AI/LLM tooling to build self-service tools for Sales and Marketing.
• Pricing & Profitability Analysis — Analyze profitability by customer, service line, and contract to inform pricing and mix decisions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
• 2+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, FP&A, or commercial/growth analytics
• A track record of structured problem solving — taking an ambiguous question and producing an answer that changed a decision or delivered a measurable result
• Strong commercial instinct and genuine curiosity about how a business operates and grows
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward a defensible answer quickly, rather than a perfect one eventually
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint; fluency with Claude or other LLM tools; R, Python, or BI platform experience a plus
• Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and familiarity with sales/marketing automation tools (Apollo.io, Clay, Klaviyo)
• Financial fluency — comfortable with P&L mechanics, margin analysis, and basic valuation concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership
• Strong project management skills and the ability to run multiple workstreams with limited direction
