Job summary

Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, seeks a Senior Advisor for Drug Trends and Pipeline Strategy to lead clinical strategy across therapeutic areas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will analyze trends, drive enterprise planning, and influence contracts and formulary decisions to differentiate offerings and support growth. Initial salary range is substantial, with annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA/MHA/PharmD).
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing if degree is Pharmacy.
• 5+ years in healthcare strategy (contracting, analytics, formulary, product & business development).

Responsibilities

• Review healthcare landscape to identify trends, opportunities and gaps.
• Evaluate performance of internal clinical strategies and enhance as needed.
• Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for enterprise objectives.
• Use data to evaluate financial impacts of strategies and contracts.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders to achieve initiatives and goals.
• Negotiate contract language to protect formulary and trend solutions across offerings.
• Monitor strategy performance post-implementation; adjust as needed.
• Create presentations for senior leadership and develop SOPs/playbooks.
