Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Strategic Supplier Leader for North America Contract Manufacturing to own the commercial relationship and multi-million-dollar spend portfolio. You will drive supplier competitiveness, productivity, risk management, and long-term value with cross-functional partners including procurement, Legal, and business leaders.

The role emphasizes strategic RFQs, MSAs/SOWs/BAs, and a productivity roadmap (QVE/CoS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering, or related field.
• Min 10 years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or commercial leadership.
• Proven experience leading complex RFQs, supplier selections, negotiations, and sourcing decisions in contract manufacturing.
• Experience negotiating and managing MSAs, SOWs, and BAs.
• Experience developing should-cost, landed-cost, and total cost of ownership models.
• Knowledge of USMCA, IMMEX, tariffs mitigation strategies.
• Strong financial/business acumen and ability to evaluate investments and business cases.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to influence across matrixed teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year supplier roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Build strategic relationships with supplier leadership and ensure capacity, investment, and tech plans.
• Lead executive supplier governance and Supplier Business Reviews.
• Lead commercial aspects of new product introductions, supplier transfers, outsourcing, and transitions.
• Lead strategic RFQs, supplier selections, negotiations, and commercial decisions.
• Develop should-cost analyses, market intelligence, benchmarks, and volume leverage.
• Negotiate pricing, productivity, payment terms, capacity commitments, and other commercial conditions.
• Lead negotiations of MSAs, SOWs, and other supplier agreements.
• Partner with Legal to establish protections and performance requirements.
• Ensure contractual commitments are implemented and aligned with business needs.
• Own the supplier productivity roadmap including QVE, CoS, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Build a sustainable productivity pipeline via cost transparency and supplier collaboration.
• Drive supplier performance across Quality, Service, Cost, Cash, Productivity, Sustainability.
• Lead escalations and supplier recovery when commitments are not met.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, capacity, financial, geopolitical, tariff, and supply risks.
• Maintain governance and multi-year roadmaps with measurable KPIs.
