Banner Health is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Administer to lead sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management across high-spend clinical categories. You will manage a $100M contract portfolio and work with physicians and operations to align procurement with clinical needs and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Seven or more years of purchasing experience including capital equipment purchase, RFP development, bid analysis, contract negotiation and contracting.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare procurement and contracting processes; strong planning, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and travel to facilities as needed.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a $100M contract portfolio and drive sourcing strategies for high-spend product categories with physician preference.
• Lead RFPs, vendor negotiations and contract development; ensure compliance with legal and customer requirements.
• Manage contract specifications, due diligence, and risk analysis; coordinate with legal reviews.
• Provide enterprise leadership to facilities on contracting, procurement and utilization of supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement new procurement processes, policies and supplier agreements.
• Aggregate contract and procurement data for senior management reporting and decision making.
• Monitor contract usage and rebates; conduct ongoing supplier reviews and performance management.
• Provide guidance to staff on procurement best practices and category strategies.
• Drive continuous cost reduction opportunities and value creation across the portfolio.
