Job summary

Soap Creek Resources is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst (Sr. Buyer) to lead sourcing for new product development and existing programs in the Milwaukee area. You will work with the Director of Sourcing to drive supplier strategies and cost optimization across assigned commodities.

You will manage $30–$50 million in annual spend, develop and execute sourcing strategies, lead negotiations, and mentor junior team members in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships.
• Manage $30–$50 million commodity spend and develop sourcing strategies.
• Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements.
• Analyze purchase volumes to drive supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
• Manage quoting and negotiations.
• Lead supplier selection for Global and Regional strategies for current product and New Product Development components.
• Mentor, coach, and train new Sourcing team members.
