Job summary

AUMOVIO is seeking a skilled professional to lead the Advanced Purchasing (AP) function within automotive projects in the U.S. This role drives supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, and risk management from concept to SOP, ensuring cost, quality, and timely milestones.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in purchasing or project management, experience with multicultural teams, and a background in the automotive sector. Relocation is not offered; U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years in purchasing, project management, quality or related field.
• Experience working with a multi-cultural team and in the Automotive sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing team in accordance with automotive processes and track planning and execution from kick-off to supplier nomination.
• Drive sourcing to achieve best cost and quality, meeting project milestones and ensure nomination at PLC gate 55.
• Manage supplier risk, request RFQs, arrange samples, support negotiations, and document until official nomination.
