Job summary

Pets Choice is seeking a Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead a small team overseeing outsourced finished goods, ensuring a reliable, cost-effective supply chain that meets quality, regulatory and service standards. You will drive supplier performance and work with Planning, Technical, Marketing and Commercial teams to optimise inventory and support product launches.

Qualifications

Supplier relationship and stakeholder management experience.
Proven procurement experience in FMCG with technical understanding.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
Experience working cross-functionally with planning, technical, and production teams.
Proficiency in inventory management and budget management.

Responsibilities

Develop procurement strategies for finished goods categories to support company growth and profitability.
Build and maintain supplier relationships, acting as the key commercial contact for strategic finished goods suppliers.
Identify opportunities to consolidate spend, improve supplier performance, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
Monitor supplier performance, capacity, compliance, and operational risk to mitigate disruptions.
Lead supplier reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, quality, and cost.
Collaborate with Marketing and NPD to support product development and supplier qualification.
