Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Senior Purchasing Specialist to lead cradle-to-grave procurement for a major pharmaceutical capital project in Richmond, VA. You will partner with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and Quality to ensure safety, schedule, cost and quality objectives are met.

Responsibilities include sourcing, bid management, supplier negotiations, contract administration and governance, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in procurement or supply chain management.
• Experience with sourcing events, bid evaluations and contract awards.
• Experience supporting large capital projects, EPC/EPCM or pharma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute cradle-to-grave procurement activities including sourcing, bid solicitation and supplier selection.
• Lead commercial negotiations on price, terms, delivery and scope changes.
• Administer purchase orders and contracts; monitor supplier performance.
• Support governance, cost management, forecasting and risk mitigation.
