Job summary

Germanna Community College seeks a senior leader to advance strategic initiatives, partnerships, and accreditation efforts. The Assistant Vice President will align institutional goals with execution, oversee key reports, and drive growth to ensure long-term financial sustainability.

The role manages direct reports and bridges college-wide strategies with execution across business development, program expansion, and collaboration on Vision 2030. Strong leadership in higher education is essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field (MBA/MPA/M.Ed.).
Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership in operations, strategy, or enterprise project management.
Experience in higher education, workforce development, or public sector.
Experience leading regional accreditation activities (SACSCOC preferred).
Experience with Ad Astra, EAB Navigate, SIS PeopleSoft, and WES.
Expertise in Microsoft Productivity suite and modern AI tools.

Responsibilities

Provide college-wide leadership over business development and program expansion.
Drive accreditation efforts and institutional effectiveness.
Guide Vision 2030 and Accelerate Opportunity 2030 initiatives and oversee key reports.
