Job summary

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Senior Impact Officer for Strategic Initiatives. You will translate strategic priorities into coordinated action, strengthen collaboration across grantmaking pillars, and drive learning and accountability within the Impact Team.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives, you will build structures for effective collaboration, evaluate potential grantees, support change management, and prepare data for board reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, liberal arts, or related field; equivalent years of experience.
• At least five years coordinating projects, building team systems, and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work across teams and departments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Build cross-pillar communication and collaboration infrastructure.
• Serve as Impact Team liaison to Uncommon Leader Awards group.
• Ensure coherence across grant pathways and stakeholder communication.
• Manage grant portfolio and provide analyses for funding.
• Prepare data and updates for board reports.
