University Hospital is seeking a Senior Decision Support Analyst to provide financial and operational analysis to support business decisions across the health system. The role maintains decision support systems, cost accounting, contract management, and data analytics applications, updating data timely and accurately.

You will develop dashboards and reports to measure KPIs, present findings to management, and collaborate with the HealthCare Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of four years of finance experience, with at least three in healthcare.
• Experience in decision support and managed care environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial and operational analysis to support informed business decision-making across University Hospital.
• Identifies trends, opportunities, and operational issues while delivering insights to leadership at all levels.
• Maintains and supports decision support systems, including cost accounting, contract management, and data analytics applications.
• Ensures timely and accurate updates of system applications and underlying data.
• Performs data integrity reviews to validate the accuracy and reliability of reporting information.
• Develops dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor, measure, and trend KPIs.
• Presents complex financial and operational data in a clear, actionable format.
• Supports strategic planning, performance improvement initiatives, and organizational objectives.
