Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years accounting, financial analysis and decision support experience in a hospital or similar environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and evaluation skills.
• Able to function independently and as a member of a team.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organization/time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of analyses and reports to support hospital and corporate initiatives; produces monthly management reports.
• Loads data extracts into cost accounting, decision support and budget software with reconciliation and data accuracy review.
• Assists in cost accounting standard development and maintenance; educates users.
• Works with department managers to develop the annual operating budget.
• Interacts with systems like Kaufman Hall, Lawson, Cerner, Showcase, Kronos and Enterprise reporting.
