Coherent Corp. in the United States is seeking a Lead Buyer/Planner to own supplier relations during ramp, manage strategic agreements, and secure cost-effective, continuous supply for the product line.

You will align with product management and engineering to ensure BOM-driven procurement and seamless manufacturing. You will lead RFQ/RFP activities, enforce contract provisions, monitor performance, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining ERP/MRP data integrity and strong supplier

Qualifications

• BS/MS or equivalent degree in related field.
• Minimum 7 yrs. of direct or closely related experience.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM, ERP systems.
• Ability to interface with manufacturing data bases (Agile).
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Manage procurement across assigned suppliers and categories.
• Participate in budgeting and cost monitoring.
• Coordinate RFQ/RFP processes and bid analysis.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain MRP system integrity and inventory flows.
• Create CVMI/VMI agreements and manage inventory levels.
• Review requisitions, POs, invoices for accuracy.
• Interface with internal customers and suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
