We are partnering with an established systems integrator in Texas to hire a Senior Automation Engineer to deliver automation projects across Houston TX and surrounding areas. This role offers hands-on technical ownership, exposure to modern automation platforms, and the opportunity to work on complex industrial systems from design through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, test and commission control systems for custom automation equipment
• Work with platforms including Allen Bradley, PlantPAX, Siemens S7, PCS-7, ABB-800XA
• Support projects across the Energy, Power, and Renewable Energy sectors
• Collaborate directly with OEMSs and end customers on system requirements and solutions
• Participate in on-site commissioning, troubleshooting and system optimization
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when required

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Automation & Controls Engineering
• 5+ years of hands on PLC (Allen Bradley) Programming experience
• Experience designing and commissioning PLC Systems - Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, PCS-7
• Background supporting industrial automation equipment and machinery
• Industry experience in Energy, Power, or Renewable Energy
• Ability to work on-site in Houston TX area and travel locally as projects require
