Job summary

The Foth Companies in the United States seek an experienced Lead Stormwater & Water Resources Engineer to provide technical leadership across stormwater, drainage, flood mitigation, and water resources projects nationwide. Senior role with mentoring responsibilities and opportunity for remote alignment with technical leadership needs.

The ideal candidate will lead design, modeling, and reports, and will collaborate with clients and agencies across markets while potentially working remotely,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience in stormwater, drainage, and water resources engineering.
• Experience providing technical leadership and guidance on water resources projects.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader for stormwater, drainage, flood risk, and water resources projects across multiple markets.
• Provide oversight for reports, modeling, calculations, designs, and construction documents.
• Mentor engineers through coaching, reviews, and training.
• Develop discipline standards, design guides, QA/QC, workflows, and training resources.
• Lead design and delivery of stormwater systems, drainage infrastructure, and watershed studies.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for urban and rural watersheds.
• Lead modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM, PCSWMM, HydroCAD, ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare and review reports, feasibility studies, permits, and agency submittals.
• Coordinate with agencies on stormwater and water resources projects.
