Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a senior engineer to lead and deliver complex infrastructure projects across disciplines. You will design, review, and modify calculations, reports, plans, and specifications while collaborating with project managers and clients to meet schedules and budgets.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to proposals, and help coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider a broad range of engineering solutions.
• Responsible for planning, work distribution, leadership, schedule, and budget on complex projects.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develops scope of work and level of effort and manages adherence to scope and budget on complex projects.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the discipline.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinates technical aspects of the project with client counterparts and teaming partners.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects and collaborates with other disciplines.
• Plans schedules, hours, and distribution of work for other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
