Dragonfly Pond Works in Addison, TX is seeking an Estimating Specialist to develop accurate cost estimates for corrective repairs and improvements within assigned regions. You will partner with Client Service Managers to deliver timely proposals, including scope narratives, pricing, and assumptions to help win profitable work.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating or sales experience in stormwater or related civil services, proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint, and strong

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating or sales experience in stormwater, landscaping, environmental services, or related construction fields.
• Ability to read stormwater plans, as-builts, and inspection reports.
• Experience preparing estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates accounting for labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project risk.
• Prepare estimates for stormwater repair and restoration projects and prepare professional proposals.
• Review plans, as-built drawings, inspection reports, and compliance notices to define project scope.
• Conduct site visits with or without Client Service Managers to evaluate conditions and requirements.
• Provide guidance on repair solutions, estimating best practices, and scope writing to field teams.
• Maintain estimating records, proposals, and opportunity status in CRM systems.
