Job summary

GKY, part of True Environmental, seeks a motivated water resources professional to join its team in Virginia. You will support stormwater infrastructure assessment, asset management, and regulatory compliance for public sector clients, bringing field experience with SWMFs and stormwater programs.

The role emphasizes development of asset inventories, condition rating, CIP alignment, and QA/QC documentation, plus data integration into GIS and EAM platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, civil/environmental engineering, or related field.
• Experience developing/implementing Stormwater Asset Management Plans and CIP to support long-term infrastructure planning and regulatory compliance.
• 5–10 years of practical stormwater collection system inspection/asset management experience.
• Knowledge of stormwater infrastructure components and SWMF design and function.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to perform fieldwork in difficult terrain and year-round weather conditions.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead in water resources, stormwater infrastructure management, and regulatory compliance consulting.
• Support stormwater asset management, CIP planning, and reporting within ERP platforms.
• Develop stormwater asset inventories, condition rating, and risk prioritization.
• Integrate field data into GIS-based asset management platforms and Enterprise Asset Management systems.
• Inspect stormwater collection systems and SWMFs; identify deficiencies and prioritise capital improvements.
• Prepare and review QA/QC documentation and planning documents.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver stormwater training; coordinate with clients and project staff.
