Job summary

UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services (H&HS) seeks a detail-oriented Storekeeper Senior to manage the Housing Maintenance Parts Department inventory and associated work orders. You will perform day-to-day stock control, issue tracking, and data entry to support campus housing operations.

Responsibilities include periodic physical inventories, tool maintenance coordination, and ensuring accurate records across multiple stockrooms. A valid California driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience with inventory stock control and restock ordering.
• Ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of stock control procedures.
• Knowledge of general work safety practices.
• Working knowledge of computers and database management.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and take messages.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Typing 40-50 words per minute.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.
• Ability to establish amicable working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operations to maintain Housing Maintenance Parts Department Inventory and Work Order system.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory of stockroom supplies/equipment.
• Track issuance of parts/equipment and restock from multiple vendors.
• Manage work order database and ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor and facilitate maintenance/repair of tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Oversee uniform service where applicable.
