Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school required.
• 6–10 years management experience.
• 6–10 years job-specific experience.
• Driver’s license required.
• CTS certification from Tire Industry Association or vendor training required.

Responsibilities

• Compare daily sales and service sales to objectives.
• Review invoices daily.
• Follow pricing policies to maintain satisfactory gross margins.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service.
• Assign recurring and ad hoc tasks to store staff.
• Enforce safety, health, and security rules and company policies.
• Maintain a clean shop and waiting area reflecting the corporate image.
• Schedule shifts and approve timecards weekly.
• Recruit and hire qualified employees; train staff for advancement.
• Make bank deposits at the end of each day.
• Restock and update store displays daily.
• Submit p-card statements weekly.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings.
• Maintain proper telephone answering techniques.
• Solicit new accounts.
• Protect company assets.
• Train store personnel.
