Amazon is seeking a Sr. Store Designer for the Worldwide Grocery Real Estate team in Austin, Texas.

This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to drive multiple projects through design, permitting and construction administration while keeping customer obsession at the forefront. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop comprehensive design development packages, present design concepts, and ensure brand standards are applied

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Architecture or Interior Design
• 7+ years of commercial retail design or architecture experience
• Intermediate Revit skills

Responsibilities

• Translate brand design standards into innovative, fiscally responsible store designs.
• Manage the design process with internal and external partners.
• Develop schematic design packages and FF&E/décor.
• Coordinate with Construction, Procurement and Operations on budget and schedule considerations.
• Archive drawings, redlines, and shop drawings; obtain landlord approvals.
• Communicate design vision to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
