Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Senior Store Design Manager to lead design development for new stores and major remodels, blending brand and athlete experience into high-performing retail environments.

You will translate business goals into actionable design strategies, oversee the end-to-end process from concept to completion, and collaborate with Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and external partners to ensure consistent vision and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of experience in architecture, interior, or retail design environments.
• License in architecture or interior design preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Revit BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D visualization is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development for large-scale stores including new builds and major remodels.
• Ideate and present innovative concepts using 3D modeling and 2D drawings to senior leadership.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with internal and external partners to deliver on time and within budget.
• Establish design standards, guidelines, and best practices across the store network.
• Mentor and develop Store Designers, fostering creativity and design excellence.
