Job summary

Woongjin, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to engineer and maintain server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and security across Linux environments. The role emphasizes automation, reliability, and collaboration with R&D teams.

You will install, configure, and monitor servers, storage systems, and network gear, while ensuring backups and patching are completed consistently. Strong documentation and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of system administration experience on Linux environments.
• Proficiency with shell scripting, log analysis, and user/account management.
• DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II or equivalent security certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of virtualization, storage, and network gear is required.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain system administration solutions for project and operational needs.
• Install, configure, and manage servers, hardware, storage, and related services.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and storage (NetApp, Pure Storage, Dell/EMC).
• Perform daily system monitoring, backups, and security patching.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible and related tools.
• Maintain system standards and security posture across environments.
• Coordinate with teams to support R&D activities and infra.
• Provide Tier III support and troubleshoot complex issues.
