Apple is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to join the Elastic Disk SRE team in Seattle. You’ll design, operate, and scale distributed storage systems powering Apple Cloud services, with ownership of projects and collaboration with senior engineers across data centers.

Expect on-call rotations, performance tuning, and hardening of storage stacks. Proficiency in Go/Java/Python/Rust, Linux internals, and Kubernetes is valued, along with experience in Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Spinnaker.

Formación

• 4+ years of building, operating, and scaling distributed storage or large-scale stateful systems.
• Proficient in Go (preferred), Java, Python, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of Linux storage (LVM, XFS, ext4, S3, Ceph, Gluster, NFS) and Linux internals.

Responsabilidades

• Own and operate storage components at scale across data centers.
• Design, implement, and release features with cross-team collaboration.
• Be part of on-call rotations and handle alerts to maintain availability.
• Drive technical standards and project delivery across the SRE team.
