Qualifications

• Ten (10+) years of related systems engineering experience
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or 14+ years IT experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup platforms and hyper-converged solutions
• Full lifecycle SAN administration experience including capacity planning
• Experience with VMware and virtualized environments
• Proficiency in Windows and Red Hat administration
• Familiarity with cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, Oracle)
• Location: Herndon, VA on customer site

Responsibilities

• Participating in requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation of next generation Storage and Backup systems
• Collaborating with Customer Technical Leads and vendors to evaluate storage technologies
• Developing and maintaining the storage demonstration environment
• Develop and execute test plans for storage and backup solutions
• Performing root cause analysis and recommending improvements
• Providing storage upgrade recommendations and system integration support
• Providing Tier 3/4 support to storage and backup platforms
• Conducting system security engineering with a Storage/SAN focus
• Installing, monitoring, and optimizing storage solutions
