Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer to serve as a hands-on technical expert for enterprise storage platforms, backup and disaster recovery.

You will partner with infrastructure teams supporting VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and hybrid cloud environments while driving migrations, modernization projects, and operational runbooks to improve reliability and recoverability across a global footprint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise storage and disaster recovery experience.
• Hands-on administration experience with Commvault and backup/recovery technologies.
• Extensive experience with storage platforms such as Pure Storage, Qumulo, Dell PowerStore, NetApp or Dell EMC.
• Experience supporting VMware, Windows Server, Linux in datacenter environments.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, automation tools, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise storage platforms including Pure Storage, Qumulo, Dell PowerStore, and related storage technologies.
• Design, configure, and manage storage provisioning, performance optimization, capacity planning, replication, and lifecycle management.
• Lead backup, recovery, retention, and disaster recovery capabilities across global infrastructure environments.
• Administer and optimize Commvault data protection solutions, ensuring recoverability objectives and compliance.
• Support global file sharing, file services, replication, and data resiliency across associates and business applications.
