Job summary
Fidelity’s Enterprise Infrastructure Distributed Hosting team seeks a Senior Storage Administrator to support storage, backup, and data protection platforms, ensuring reliability of critical services. The role involves provisioning, migration, DR support, and collaboration with global teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.
Schedule is shift-based with multiple weekly options. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in storage/backup operations, experience with SAN/NAS, Commvault or similar,
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise storage and data protection.
- Experience with SAN/NAS and data protection technologies.
- Knowledge of IBM, Infinidat or NetApp storage platforms.
- Contributes to KPIs, metrics and observability.
- Drives automation and DevOps/EngOps initiatives.
- Collaborates with global teams and vendors to resolve issues.
- Experience managing backup/recovery solutions (e.g., Commvault).
- Troubleshoots complex infrastructure incidents and performs root cause analysis.
- Handles provisioning, migration, decommissioning, DR support; knowledge of SAN switches.
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise storage, backup, and data protection platforms.
- Monitor and improve restoration, provisioning, and migration activities.
- Collaborate with global teams to implement secure, scalable infra solutions.
- Drive automation and embrace DevOps/EngOps practices.
- Assist in disaster recovery and incident resolution.
