Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience with enterprise storage administration and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to project plans and schedules for storage, backup, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Monitor alerts and respond to storage, backup, and data protection issues to ensure high availability.
• Diagnose performance issues using logs, metrics, and diagnostic tools.
• Administer storage arrays (Dell Unity/PowerStore/PowerScale) including provisioning, replication, and snapshots.
• Administer backup/recovery platforms (Dell Avamar, Commvault) and cloud backups.
• Design and manage cloud storage/backups on Azure and AWS.
• Develop automation scripts and IaC to provision storage and automate backups.
• Implement immutable storage and WORM configurations for ransomware resilience.
• Lead architecture discussions and roadmaps for storage and data protection.
