Job summary
Constellation is seeking a Systems Engineer (Storage and Backup Engineer) to provide hands-on support for the delivery and maintenance of IT solutions, focusing on storage and backup technologies. This role involves analyzing complex hardware and software issues, maintaining storage platforms, and ensuring the performance and reliability of server solutions.
The Systems Engineer will also be involved in customer engagement, project management services, and automating processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus IT infrastructure experience as outlined in the minimum qualifications.
- Experience with storage and backup engineering across on-prem and cloud environments; ability to manage complex systems.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, implement, and support storage and backup solutions; perform configuration and optimization.
- Collaborate on security-focused system integration and future technology roadmaps.
- Lead IT projects and deployments; provide input to architecture and risk assessments.
- Maintain and improve recovery and availability of critical data.
- Participate in cloud migrations and ensure continuity during transitions.
