Job summary

NewGen Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Storage Admin to support a partner's corporate storage team in the United States. This role includes scheduled rotational on-call after hours, with a focus on backup systems and storage arrays.

Responsibilities include monitoring NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubik backups, adding servers/VMs, configuring new backup solutions, and coordinating issue resolution.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI FSP Clearance
• Sec+ CE or higher
• 10+ years relevant experience as a Systems Admin/Storage Admin

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage backup systems including NetBackup, Cohesity, Commvault, and Rubik systems
• Work with customers to add new servers and VMs into backups and to troubleshoot issues
• Configure a new backup solution when purchased
• Troubleshoot and coordinate break fix for backup alliances (NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubik) and disk arrays Oracle ZFS, NetApp, Vast, and IBM storage arrays
• Monitor and fix issues with the SAN using command line troubleshooting and zoning
• Work with the ISSO to make sure the vulnerabilities are patched
• Work with the ISSO for SSP re-authorization
