NTT DATA Americas, Inc. seeks a Sr. Storage Developer to advance automation for storage platforms in an onsite Mahwah, NJ environment. The role focuses on Python development, Ansible/AWX, and storage provisioning across PowerMax/PowerFlex with VMware integration.

Expected candidates will have 8–10 years of experience, strong leadership, and the ability to troubleshoot legacy code while delivering scalable automation. This is a 1-year duration on-site role with W2 or C2C options.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Python development and automation.
• Advanced to expert AWX/Tower experience including workflows, inventories, and RBAC.
• Expert Ansible playbook development and automation best practices.
• Expert knowledge of Dell PowerMax/PowerFlex with REST APIs, provisioning, and automation.
• Expert VMware vSphere/vCenter administration and automation via PowerCLI and APIs.
• Strong technical documentation and diagramming skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technically.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-evolving technical landscape.
• Ability to quickly understand, troubleshoot, and modify complex codebases.

Responsabilités

• Enhance and maintain Python applications, automation frameworks, and Ansible playbooks.
• Design and develop new automation for storage infrastructure across multiple vendors.
• Develop storage provisioning workflows using Ansible, Python, PowerCLI, and vCenter APIs.
• Automate PowerMax and PowerFlex storage provisioning.
• Develop and maintain PowerFlex automation solutions.
• Create design documentation and workflow diagrams.
• Test, validate, and deploy automation releases to production.
• Provide guidance on Python, Ansible, VMware, and storage CLIs/APIs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows and integrations.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
