Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled storage automation engineer for a remote US role. You will help develop a centralized inventory system and automate storage, backup, and recovery using Python, Ansible, and C# services. The role requires deep knowledge of Dell/IBM/Pure platforms and strong problem-solving abilities.

You will write comprehensive documentation, collaborate with teams, and learn quickly to contribute from Day 1. Competitive pay reflects market rates ($60–$62/hr) and benefits.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of enterprise storage platforms (Dell, IBM, Pure Storage) and related systems.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise data protection platforms (Dell Avamar/Data Domain/Data Protector).
• Advanced knowledge of storage management/monitoring tools (Dell AppSync, InsightIQ, SRM, SCG, Unisphere).
• Advanced knowledge of storage networking (FOS, SAN, Fibre Channel, zoning, SSL automation).
• Strong Python development skills; beginner PowerShell; advanced C#/.NET development.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, query development, procedures, and analysis.
• Extensive REST APIs, SDKs, and CLI integrations across platforms.
• Excellent technical writing and ability to learn quickly in large environments.

Responsibilities

• Inventory System Development – central storage inventory platform and integrations.
• Storage Automation & Process Improvement – automate storage, backup, provisioning, and monitoring.
• Documentation – produce clear technical/operational docs for automation.
