Point72 is seeking a Storage Operations Engineer to own the stability and performance of enterprise storage platforms across production environments. You will build automation to streamline provisioning and configuration at scale, drive proactive monitoring and capacity planning, and lead incident response with cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires deep storage experience, scripting skills in Bash/Python/Ansible, and hands-on work in a dynamic, on-site New York office setting,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise storage platforms across production environments.
• Experience with block storage, file storage, and object storage.
• Scripting and automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Experience with Rubrik, Cohesity, Data Domain, and backup/recovery workflows.
• Experience installing and optimizing storage systems in production.
• Incident management and troubleshooting under production pressure.

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day operational responsibility for the stability, performance, and scalability of our storage platforms.
• Build scalable automation and tooling to eliminate manual tasks at scale.
• Drive proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance analysis.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and optimize storage systems and firmware.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive root-cause analysis.
