Qualifications
- Ten years of storage engineering experience in large IT environments.
- US citizenship and an active security clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Configure, tune, test and troubleshoot storage for virtualization (VMware, Xen, Solaris containers).
- Configure, tune, testing and advanced level storage troubleshooting of cloud-based implementations (HADOOP).
- Configure, tune, test and troubleshoot storage for RedHat, SUSE, and Solaris OSes related to file services and FC connectivity.
- Demonstrated experience as a storage architect.
- Install, configure, tune, troubleshoot and administer SGI IRIX-based OS and SGI systems with FC SAN storage.
- Manage multi-vendor clustered file systems (GPFS, Lustre).
- Work with network/storage appliances (NFS/CIFS) and SSDs; support Data Domain and deduplication products.
- Cloud-based storage solutions such as Hadoop and IBM BigInsights.
- Trouble ticket management using Remedy.
