• 6 years relevant, progressive underwriting experience
• 5–7 years' underwriting experience for self-funded and converting prospects to self-funding
• Experience with underwriting risk and pricing policies across enrollment, renewals and amendments
• Familiarity with privacy regulations and data security in underwriting processes

Responsibilities

• Renew accounts and write new business at profitable levels to meet HMIG targets
• Calculate rates and apply pricing policies for diverse groups
• Identify anomalous claim patterns and adjust pricing recommendations
• Advise on pricing adaptations to accommodate client-specific situations
