Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Sterilization Technician III to install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair complex sterilization and decontamination equipment. The role requires familiarity with a broad range of sterilizers and associated clinical devices, with travel as needed.

The candidate should have strong electrical, plumbing, and instrumentation skills, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and customer service while supporting service operations and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of sterilization and decontamination equipment.
• AC/DC electrical knowledge, read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Plumbing knowledge, read piping diagrams and identify components.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on sterilization equipment.
• Repair and calibrate sterilization and decontamination systems and document results.
• Inform supervisors of repairs status and unusual equipment conditions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain field expertise through ongoing training and mentoring others.
