Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking a Tech-Sterile Processing 2 to join its Sterile Processing team in Oregon. You will clean, inspect, maintain and properly sterilize instruments and equipment, and distribute them for surgical cases and other procedures requiring sterile supplies.

Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or
• Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or
• Upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
• 3 years of recent sterile processing experience.
• Experience using personal computer and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, maintain, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases and other procedures.
