Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking a Tech-Sterile Processing 2 to efficiently clean, inspect, maintain and sterilize sterile instrumentation. You will distribute supplies and work with surgical teams to ensure instruments and equipment are available for procedures.

Role requires three years of sterile processing experience and current certifications from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or related bodies, plus basic PC skills. Per-diem schedule, on-site at Milwaukie.

Qualifications

• Certifications required upon hire from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association and Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent sterile processing experience.
• Experience using personal computer and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, maintain and properly sterilize sterile instrumentation and equipment.
• Distribute sterile supplies and coordinate with other departments to ensure availability for surgical cases and procedures.
